French graphic designer Étienne Mineur talks about creating video games in a publication format, employing the use of light sensitive inks, voice sensitive receptors and magnetic inks in order to run a current through the book. He explains that he wants to force people to read text at a certain time, therefore the ink disappears after a certain period of light exposure. As an attempt to keep creative responses out of the digital realm I intend to experiment with content that cannot be digitally photographed or scanned. This can be achieved through printing in gloss inks that can only be seen when viewed from a certain direction or printing colour onto the same colour. This would make the work harder to view physically, but impossible to view in a digital format, since the work would rely on texture.
